You deal directly with the person who builds it — just the person who built Account Finder, and why.
Daley Brennan
US market-entry advisor for wine & spirits producers
Daley has worked in wine since 2008 and focused on the US market since 2018 — as a producer, an importer, on the distributor-facing sales side, and in Paris retail, in both English and French. He's built national distribution for premium brands, including opening major state markets from zero, and has run accounts with buyers at Costco, Total Wine & More and premium restaurant groups.
Account Finder exists because that account-hunting work — matching a producer's positioning to the right restaurants, retailers and distributors in a new market — used to take days of manual map searches and guesswork. Every ranking rule and data source in this tool started as something Daley did by hand first.
The tool a solo operator actually needed
Finding accounts for a new market by hand means stitching together a location search, a handful of curated award lists, and — for regulated categories like alcohol — federal and state licence registries, then scoring every result against the brand's own positioning. Doing that by hand for a single city takes the better part of a day. Account Finder automates the discovery and the ranking, so the work that's left is the part a human should actually be doing: deciding who to call first.
It's built and run by a practitioner, not a venture-funded team — which is also why this page exists. If you're trusting a tool with your territory research, you should know who's behind it and be able to reach them directly.
